Excel received a grant from The New Mexico Department of Health Office of Substance Abuse Prevention to address the problem of underage & binge drinking for ages 15 - 24 in the Albuquerque area.

The After School Learning Center
Location: John Marshall Multi-Purpose Center, 1500 Walter S.E.
Time: Monday through Thursday at from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

This program serves students K through 12, using sound educational materials and fostering cultural pride.  Students are assisted with homework and enriched in reading, math and computer skills. For more information, click here

Effective Black Parenting/Confident Parenting

These programs are science and research based programs created by the Center for the Improvement of Child Care (CICC).  This fifteen week, award winning nationally acclaimed parenting skill-building curriculum teaches parents to raise African American children to become healthy, proud and capable people.
